Where: StubHubCenter.

Record vs. Houston: 0-0-1.

Update: Galaxy Coach Bruce Arena said his team was thoroughly outplayed in a 4-0 loss at Orlando City last weekend, with a makeshift back line missing two starters that got blitzed in the Galaxy’s worst defeat in two years. Now the team gets a chance to rebound at home, where it hasn’t lost since the 2014 season opener. Center back Omar Gonzalez is expected to return after missing the Orlando loss with a knee injury but left back Robbie Rogers (Achilles) is less certain. Forward Robbie Keane, who has missed seven games with a groin strain, could be available after returning to training this week. His status will be a game-time decision but without him the Galaxy scored just six times in seven games. The Dynamo, which played the Galaxy to a 1-1 draw when the teams met at the StubHub Center two months ago, is coming off back-to-back wins; Houston outscored Toronto FC and Portland, 5-2,in those two games. The Dynamo’s Giles Barnes is tied for second in the league in scoring with six goals.
