UCLA football: Tackling Barr keeps him off stat sheet, Mora says
UCLA linebacker Anthony Barr did not have a tackle against Arizona on Saturday. It was the first time he has been shut out since moving to defense before the 2012 season.
Bruins Coach Jim Mora offered a reason.
“Saturday night, he was tackled about six times,” Mora said. “He probably would have had six sacks if they hadn’t tackled him. He might not have had a tackle, but he got tackled.”
Arizona was called for holding twice during the game, leaving at least four unaccounted by Mora’s count.
