UCLA football: Linebacker Anthony Barr selected a Camp All-American
UCLA linebacker Anthony Barr was selected as a Walter Camp All-American on Thursday.
Barr, a senior, is projected as a high first-round pick in the NFL draft this spring. In the last two seasons, he has 23.5 sacks and 41.5 tackles for a loss. The Bruins completed their season against Virginia Tech in the Hyundai Sun Bowl on Dec. 31.
This season, Barr has 62 tackles, 20 for a loss, and 10 sacks, and has forced five fumbles and recovered four.
Barr started his career as a receiver before moving to linebacker after his sophomore season.
Barr was chosen second-team All-American by the Associated Press last season.
