Watch Blake Griffin say he’s Will Smith for Halloween

The Clippers were in a good mood after their 101-92 season opener win over Memphis on Wednesday evening.

Blake Griffin and Chris Paul were wearing black suits, apparently dressed up as Men in Black for Matt Barnes’ Welcome to L.A. Part 2 Halloween Party at the Conga Room in downtown L.A.

As Griffin approached the podium to take a seat next to Paul, Paul stopped talking basketball.

“Here’s my counterpart coming up here, ole’ Kay,” Paul said of Griffin. “Men in Black, bet you can’t guess which one Blake is.”

Griffin had a different idea about which alien-fighting agent he best represented.

“Will Smith,” Griffin said amid laughter from reporters.

Griffin then joked, “We had about 14 Will Smiths and one other guy.”

Said Paul: “That’s bad, I’m outta here.”

Paul and Griffin deserved the light-hearted banter after their hard-fought win in a game that had a playoff-like intensity.

Paul finished with 12 points and 12 assists, and Griffin, er, Smith had 11 points and seven rebounds.
