DeAndre Jordan was eight for eight from the field for a team-high 19 points and Blake Griffin added 13 points and 10 rebounds as the Clippers salvaged their preseason trip to China with a 99-89 victory over the Miami Heat in Shanghai on Sunday.

With Shane Battier starting at power forward and Chris Bosh at center for Miami, the Clippers found themselves with a height advantage -- and they made the most of it.

Jordan made all seven of his shots in the first half to help the Clippers run out to a 57-43 lead with a 26-13 rebounding advantage. The Clippers center had nine of those rebounds and added two blocked shots.

Star point guard Chris Paul played for the first time since off-season thumb surgery. He finished with four points, six assists and five rebounds in 22 minutes.

Rodney Carney had 15 points off the bench to lead the Heat, which took a cautious approach toward its star players. LeBron James played only 20 minutes, his shortest outing of the preseason, and had 11 points. Bosh also had 11 points in 21 minutes.

Dwyane Wade played only 8:28, all in the first half, as he continues to come back from arthroscopic knee surgery in July. He had seven points and three rebounds.
