It seems as if Clippers center DeAndre Jordan is going up against some of the best centers in the NBA on a nightly basis -- and that’s just fine with him.

Jordan will face Al Jefferson on Wednesday night when the Clippers play at the Charlotte Bobcats.

Jefferson is averaging 18.2 points and 10.4 rebounds.

Jordan is averaging 9.5 points and an NBA-best 13.5 rebounds.

Jordan just faced Detroit center Andre Drummond on Monday.

“Al isn’t the highest jumper,” Jordan said. “He isn’t the strongest guy. He’s crafty.”

Jordan says he has to be aware of all the fakes and moves that Jefferson makes.

“He’s going to pump fake three or five times or seven times and see if I bite on one of them,” Jordan said. “When I was a young guy, I would bite a lot. I’m trying to stay down and contest.”
