The Clippers on Monday promoted Seth Burton to vice president of communications to replace Joe Safety, who resigned in June after 20 years with the organization.
Burton, who is entering his eighth season with the Clippers, previously served as director of communications and assistant director of communications.
Burton, 36, will oversee the day-to-day operations of the communications department and serve as the team's primary media contact, among other duties.
In a related move, Dennis Rogers has been promoted to director of communications and digital media, responsible for shaping and implementing strategic changes on the team website and social media platforms while also facilitating interviews and media requests. Rogers joined the Clippers in December after serving as director of basketball communications for the New Orleans Hornets.
Ta'Nisha Cooper and Steven Esparza will become assistant directors of communications and Aubrey Freckman will join the organization as a communications assistant. Eric Patten has been named digital media manager and communications coordinator and Madelyn Burke remains producer and host of L.A. Clippers TV.
