Clippers point guard Darren Collison is not going to let a sprained left big toe stop him from suiting up against the Chicago Bulls Friday night at the United Center.

“Yeah, I’m playing,” Collison said at the Clippers’ shoot-around Friday morning, before doing some light shooting with associate head coach Alvin Gentry.

Collison was injured Saturday night against the Indiana Pacers, but has played the last two games, at Detroit and Charlotte, with varying degrees of success.

He missed all six of his shots against the Pistons on Monday, but had 12 points against the Bobcats on Wednesday.

Playing defense is the big issue for Collison, who said he’s not as quick because of the pain in the toe.
