Deion Sanders’ estranged wife was released from jail Tuesday after spending the night there on a misdemeanor domestic assault charge.

Speaking to reporters outside Colin County (Texas) Jail, Pilar Sanders denied her husband’s claims that she attacked him in front of their children, saying the public is taking his side because he is a former star football player.

“I’m a full-time mom, 100% for my children,” Pilar Sanders said, her voice breaking. “And I just haven’t been given a fair shake.”

She has been ordered by a magistrate judge to stay away from the family’s home in Prosper, a suburb of Dallas, and is barred from threatening or harassing her husband, according to KTVT-TV.

The couple have three children together and costarred in a reality series, “Deion & Pilar: Prime Time Love,” on the Oxygen network in 2008.

Deion Sanders, a Hall of Fame cornerback and now an analyst for the NFL Network, filed for divorce in December. Pilar Sanders is suing her husband, his adult daughter from a previous marriage and Prime Time Enterprise Inc. for $200 million in damages. She is also suing her husband’s aunt, Laura Jones, for an alleged assault, the Dallas Morning News is reporting.

The latest chapter in the couple’s saga became public Monday when Deion Sanders tweeted: “Pray for me and my kids now! They just witnessed their mother and a friend jump me in my room. She’s going to jail n I’m pressing charges!”

Pilar Sanders’ divorce attorney, Larry Friedman, said Tuesday that a gag order in the divorce case prevents him from commenting about her arrest. But, he said in a statement, “I can tell you that there are two sides to every story and the truth will come out in court.”
