The Deutsche Bank Championship in Norton, Mass., has restarted after a three-hour weather delay halted the third round of play.

PGA Tour officials are having the golfers play off the first and 10th tees in threesomes after pulling them off the TPC Boston course at 8:46 a.m. EDT because of rain and lightning.

The first group had already completed six holes of play when the decision was made to halt the round. All scores were erased and the third round restarted at 12:15 p.m. local time.

Matt Kuchar and Jason Dufner are tied for fourth at 10 under after each shot 66-66 on Friday and Saturday. Rose is tied with Jordan Spieth and Harris English for sixth at nine under.

The Deutsche Bank Championship is the second event in the four-tournament FedEx Cup playoffs. The top 30 players after the BMW Championship in Lake Forest, Ill., will play in the Tour Championship on Sept. 19-22 in Atlanta for the $10-million prize.

Tiger Woods, who is six shots behind Garcia entering play Sunday, currently leads the points standings, followed by Adam Scott, Phil Mickelson, Kuchar and Rose.
