So the Clippers finally got their man -- well, at least one of their men.
The Clippers will pick up the three years and $21 million remaining on the five-year contract that Rivers signed with Boston in 2011.
The Times' Broderick Turner reported that "NBA executives said Paul, who can sign a maximum five-year deal worth $107.3 million, is likely to re-sign with the Clippers because they've landed the coach he wanted."
So now what? With Rivers taking the reins and assuming Paul comes back, is it time to sit back and watch the titles start rolling in? Or might there be a little more to winning an NBA championship than that?
