&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;With just two games remaining in the season, the Dodgers still have a slim shot at making the playoffs.&amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;That gives the guys who cover the team for The Times -- Dylan Hernandez and Steve Dilbeck -- plenty to talk about.&amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;And they will do just that on a Google+ hangout, right here live Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. -- and available for viewing any other time as well.&amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;As Dilbeck noted on the Dodgers Now blog Monday night after the team’s 3-2 victory over San Francisco: “If nothing else, the Dodgers will be the last &amp;lt;a class=”taxInlineTagLink” href=”https://www.latimes.com/topic/sports/baseball/national-league-15007002.topic”&amp;gt;National League&amp;lt;/a&amp;gt; team to be eliminated from the postseason. And for one night at least, they did not have to be eliminated by the &amp;lt;a class=”taxInlineTagLink” href=”https://www.latimes.com/topic/sports/baseball/san-francisco-giants-ORSPT000025.topic”&amp;gt;Giants&amp;lt;/a&amp;gt;.”&amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;Hernandez spelled out the Dodgers’ chances in Tuesday’s paper:&amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;”The best-case scenario for the Dodgers at this point is a one-game playoff on Thursday against the &amp;lt;runtime:topic id=”ORSPT000027”&amp;gt;Cardinals&amp;lt;/runtime:topic&amp;gt;. For that to happen, the Dodgers would have to win their two remaining games against the Giants and the Cardinals would have to lose their two remaining games against the &amp;lt;runtime:topic id=”ORSPT000008”&amp;gt;Cincinnati Reds&amp;lt;/runtime:topic&amp;gt;.”&amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;
