There will be no rest between playoff series for Galaxy players Robbie Keane and A.J. DeLaGarza, who were both called up for national team duty this week.

Keane, an MVP candidate in Major League Soccer after a regular season in which he scored 19 goals and added 14 assists, has been summoned by Ireland for a Euro 2016 qualifier with Scotland on Friday and a friendly against the U.S. four days later.

Keane, 34, is Ireland’s captain and its all-time leading scorer with 65 international goals.

DeLaGarza, meanwhile, will join Guam for a pair of EAFF East Asian Cup semifinals, Sunday against North Korea and Nov. 19 against Hong Kong. Both games will be played in Taiwan.

DeLaGarza, 27, the Galaxy’s defender of the year for 2014, recently signed a multiyear contract extension with the team.

Both players are expected to rejoin the Galaxy in time for the two-leg MLS Western Conference finals with the Seattle Sounders, which begin Nov. 23 at the StubHub Center and conclude Nov. 30 in Seattle. The winner will be determined on aggregate goals.

The Galaxy advanced to the conference championships with a 5-0 win over Real Salt Lake on Sunday, with Keane scoring once and picking up three second-half assists and DeLaGarza setting up the first goal.
