The Jacksonville Jaguars’ Justin Blackmon is in trouble with the law again.

The troubled receiver was arrested Wednesday night on charges of marijuana possession, his third arrest involving drugs or alcohol and driving.

According to several Oklahoma television stations, authorities said Blackmon was pulled over by Edmond police in connection with a traffic violation, and that the officers reported they could smell the odor of marijuana in his car. Police said the officers searched the car, found the marijuana and took Blackmon into custody.

Blackmon, the fifth pick in the 2012 draft, is serving out an indefinite suspension by the NFL after a third violation of the league’s substance-abuse policy. His second violation resulted in his suspension for the first four games of the 2013 season.

The former Oklahoma State star was arrested in Texas in 2010 on a misdemeanor DUI charge that was later reduced to underage alcohol possession. In June 2012, he was arrested during a traffic stop in Stillwater, Okla., after a breath test showed his blood-alcohol content to be three times the legal limit.
