Kaepernicking joins Tebowing as latest craze among NFL fans

Kaepernicking has joined Tebowing as the latest craze among NFL fans.

Wait, you don’t know about Kaepernicking? You’ve probably heard about Colin Kaepernick, who took over at quarterback for injured Alex Smith and has now guided the San Francisco 49ers to the NFC championship game after a 45-31 victory over the Green Bay Packers on Saturday.

Well, when the 6-foot-6 Kaepernick first started torching defenses with his feet as well as his arm, he would celebrate a touchdown by flexing his right biceps and kissing it.

That act has been mimicked across America, particularly on social media, joining the kneeling prayer act of former Broncos and current Jets quarterback Tim Tebow.

The above video is a tribute to Kaepernick and his 49ers teammates. Kaepernick hasn’t had much to say about his success, mainly crediting his teammates. He did admit to former Super Bowl-winning quarterback Kurt Warner that he doesn’t feel any pressure to perform.

“It is not pressure unless you are not prepared,” he told Warner in an exclusive interview. “I feel like I was prepared to step in and prepared to play. At that point it is about going out and performing well.”
