Kevin Garnett ejected for headbutting Dwight Howard minutes into game
Brooklyn Nets forward Kevin Garnett was ejected from a home game Monday night after he head-butted Houston Rockets center Dwight Howard during a scuffle.
The two men got into each other's faces after it appears the former Laker said something to Garnett while slapping him on the chest during a stoppage in play a little more than four minutes into the first quarter.
Garnett was given a double technical foul and ejected from the game.
Howard also got a double technical.
Commentators said a fine for Garnett was all but guaranteed.
