The news isn’t all bad for Lindsey Vonn this week.

A day after the celebrated skier announced her breakup with longtime boyfriend Tiger Woods, word comes that Olympic officials will name her an honorary ambassador to the 2018 Winter Games in Pyeongchang, South Korea.

Her role will be confirmed on Wednesday, insidethegames.biz reports.

Vonn missed the 2014 Sochi Games with a knee injury but has rebounded this season by setting a career record with 63 World Cup victories.

As for her much-publicized personal life, she and Woods announced their mutual decision to stop dating via social media on Sunday.

“I will always cherish the memories that we’ve created together,” she wrote. “Unfortunately, we both lead incredibly hectic lives that force us to spend a majority of our time apart.”

In a strikingly similar post on his website, Woods added: “She has been amazing with Sam and Charlie and my entire family.”
