Watch Mike Ditka fall asleep on live TV during ‘Sunday NFL Countdown’
Mike Ditka, I feel your pain.
There are many days where it’s a real struggle to stay awake and I find myself nodding off at my desk, too.
At times like those, I find it helpful to get up and take a walk. Maybe grab a cup of coffee or splash some water on my face.
Of course, you really don’t have those options since your desk is in front of a television camera and you do much of your work on live television, in this case ESPN’s “Sunday NFL Countdown” pregame show.
Luckily, you have pals like Keyshawn Johnson sitting next to you, to gently shake you back into consciousness after you drift off during an apparently not-so-lively report on the Dolphins-Jets game.
That’s all I’ve got for you, Coach. Now go take a nap.
