The Kansas Royals and their fans are on an amazing postseason run.

How amazing?

Just check out this catch in the dugout suite by third baseman Mike Moustakas on Tuesday night:

With the score tied at 1-1 and no outs in the top of the sixth inning, Baltimore's Adam Jones hit an extremely high pop-up that should have been off into the stands by a mile. But the wind started carrying it back toward Moustakas, who was waiting by the rail trying to determine what to do.

Moustakas wasn't the only one with a decision to make as the ball made its way back down to earth. By the way, did I mention that it was the 11-year anniversary of lifelong Chicago Cubs fan Steve Bartman inadvertently sabotaging his beloved team by going after a foul ball in a somewhat similar situation?

“You decide if you’re going to catch the ball, right?” Tim Anderson, one of the fans in the dugout suite, told the Kansas City Star. “But then everybody just lets Moose do it, versus Bartman with the Cubs.”

And Moose did it, launching himself over the rail and into the dugout to make a spectacular catch. Then the fans in the suite did their part.

"Those people in the dugout kept me from hitting the ground," Moustakas said. "I felt like I kind of got lifted up and I was crowd surfing, and they just kind of tossed me back onto the field and just told me to go get 'em again."

Like I said, pretty amazing for the Royals and their fans.
