Major League Soccer said Wednesday that this year’s All-Star Game on July 29 will be held at the Colorado Rapids’ home venue, Dick’s Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, Colo.

The game will match the league’s All Stars against an international club that’s yet to be named.

“Colorado has become a destination for marquee soccer events, and we are thrilled to bring the AT&T All-Star Game to the region,” MLS Commissioner Don Garber said in a statement.

This year will be the 12th time that the MLS All-Stars have played an international team. The MLS clubs have an 8-3-1 record in that span, including a 2-1 win last year against Germany’s FC Bayern Munich in Portland, Ore.

This will be the second time that the Rapids have hosted the game. The first was in 2007, when the MLS All-Stars defeated Celtic FC of Scotland, 2-0.

Rapids Coach Pablo Mastroeni, who played with the MLS All-Stars in that game, will be head coach of the MLS squad this year.
