The NFL will begin airing new public service announcements against domestic violence during Thursday night’s game between San Diego and Denver.

The PSAs are for the No More campaign and feature 23 current and former NFL players, among them Eli Manning, John Lynch, Merton Hanks, Prince Amukamara and Antonio Gates.

Previously produced NO MORE ads, featuring non-athlete celebrities, have appeared in games since Week 4 of the season. The league has spent about $3 million per weekend on the ads, designed to raise awareness about the problem of domestic violence.

“This is tangible, this is a monumental step toward change,” actress Mariska Hargitay, who co-directed the PSAs and whose Joyful Heart Foundation created the No More campaign recently told USA Today.

“If badass NFL heroes are coming forward to talk about these issues, I guarantee you it is going to give inspiration and permission to young boys to step up in a new way. Love in a new way, protect in a new way and to be a man in a new way. That’s what’s so beautiful, right?”
