Nike turns Paul George injury into ‘comeback’ ad
Nike is on the ball and has already turned Indiana Pacers’ star George Paul’s broken leg into an advertisement.
On Thursday, the Nike NBA basketball Twitter account tweeted: “Without the setbacks, the comebacks aren’t as sweet #justdoit.”
Along with the text is a black-and-white image of Paul with more comments about his expected comeback.
Paul fractured his leg Aug. 1 when he came down hard while trying to contest a shot against James Harden during the USA Basketball Showcase scrimmage in Las Vegas.
When Paul landed, his right leg appeared to snap when it hit the basket-support stanchion.
