The Clippers announced that Blake Griffin got an MRI exam on his sprained left knee Thursday that revealed no structural damage to the knee and that he will be a game-time decision for Game 6 on Friday night against the Memphis Grizzlies at Staples Center.

The Clippers also said that Chris Paul, who strained his right hip flexor in Game 5, also will be a game-time decision in the best-of-seven series that the Clippers lead, 3-2, and can close out with a victory.

Griffin was injured with 1:31 left in the third quarter of Wednesday night’s game in Memphis but continued to play. He finished with 15 points, 11 rebounds and three steals in 39 minutes.

Paul was injured with 5:15 remaining in the game but also returned and finished with 19 points, six rebounds, four assists and four steals in 39 minutes.

Both Griffin and Paul limped along after their injuries in Game 5 and each indicated afterward that they would play in Game 6.

The Clippers didn’t practice Thursday.
