Peyton Manning is OK with marijuana usage in Colorado; after all, he says it’s helping his bottom line.

In a recent interview with Peter King of MMQB, Manning said the legalization of recreational marijuana in Colorado has meant a nice boost to his Papa John’s Pizza sales.

Manning wasn’t directly asked about pot, but got on the subject while talking about his feelings on voting.

“I’ve gotten to know some of the folks here in Colorado,” Manning said in the interview. “There’s some different laws out here in Colorado. Pizza business is pretty good out here, believe it or not, due to some recent law changes. So when you come to a different place, you’ve kind of got to learn everything that comes with it.”

Manning owns more than 20 stores in Colorado, and it has been reported that Manning’s stores are rolling in the figurative and actual dough: Last year, TMZ reported that profits at several Papa John’s outlets rose from $3,000 to $4,000 on any given game day before Manning signed with the Broncos to roughly $5,000 to $6,000 a game day after he signed.

Colorado is the first state where voters have approved the use and sale of recreational marijuana.
