Rams release interviews with quarterbacks Carson Wentz and Jared Goff
The Rams, holding the first pick in next week’s NFL draft, played host to quarterbacks Carson Wentz and Jared Goff this week, and on Thursday posted video interviews with both players on the team’s website, therams.com.
Wentz, from North Dakota State University, was in town on Monday and Tuesday.
Wentz said it would be “kind of a dream come true” to be selected first.
“It’s something, you go to college and you don’t necessarily think, like, ‘That’s my goal,’” he said. “But you’re striving for it, you’re working for it, and to be the top guy would be really special to me.”
Goff, who played at California, visited Wednesday and Thursday.
“I’m really excited for it,” he said of the possibility of being chosen first. “And if that’s the case, I’m ready to get to work and ready to make them proud of the decision they made and know that they made the right decision.”
