This time, Sherman had the show stolen from him, as his interview was relegated to a small box in the bottom right corner of the viewers' TVs while the rest of the screen showed the on-field celebration still taking place at MetLife Stadium.
That's where all the action was — particularly when Seahawks tackle Russell Okung was holding team mascot Taima, an augur hawk, presumably for the first time.
Okung's reaction was priceless, commenting on the weight of the bird before yelling for his mother to take a picture.
Granted, Sherman was much more subdued this time around, probably in large part because of the ankle injury that caused him to leave the game early in the fourth quarter. There was no shouting, boasting or posturing of any kind.
Just some game analysis — which was easy to miss thanks to a very enthusiastic teammate and a bird.
