USC quarterback Cody Kessler, who passed for a Las Vegas Bowl record four touchdowns in the Trojans' 45-20 victory over Fresno State on Saturday, was named the game's most valuable player.
Kessler completed 22 of 30 passes for 340 yards. He connected with Marqise Lee and Nelson Agholor for two touchdowns each.
Kessler had one pass intercepted, and it was returned for a touchdown by Fresno State safety Derron Smith.
USC cornerback Kevon Seymour made a team-best seven tackles and was named the defensive "outperformer" of the game.
Center Abe Markowitz, a sixth-year senior walk-on, was named offensive "outperformer" of the game.
