Ed Orgeron has maintained a low profile since abruptly leaving USC after Steve Sarkisian was hired as the Trojans’ head coach.

But on Tuesday, Orgeron was an observer at a Senior Bowl practice in Mobile, Ala., SI.com’s Andy Staples reports.

Orgeron, who guided USC to a 6-2 record as the Trojans’ interim coach, told Staples that he would coach again.

“I’m keeping my options open,” he told Staples. “I’ve had several inquires.”

Many members of USC’s 2013 coaching staff have landed new jobs.

Former head coach Lane Kiffin is offensive coordinator at Alabama, offensive line coach Mike Summers is at Florida and running backs coach Tommy Robinson is at Texas.

Sarkisian retained Clay Helton as offensive coordinator and Tee Martin as receivers coach.
