USC’s oft-maligned offensive line came through with a fairly solid performance in the Trojans’ 35-7 victory over Boston College.

Sophomore Tre Madden rushed for 102 yards and a touchdown and freshman Justin Davis rushed for 96 yards and a touchdown as the Trojans amassed a season-best 257 yards rushing.

USC quarterback Cody Kessler was sacked twice.

The Trojans are averaging 196 yards rushing a game.

Senior right tackle Kevin Graf said the Trojans’ 10-7 loss to Washington State motivated the entire team.

“Everybody was [angry] and didn’t take practice lightly,” Graf said. “And we needed it.”
