USC football: Trojans ranked No. 15 in AP poll
USC is ranked No. 15 in the preseason Associated Press media poll, which was released Sunday.
Florida State is the top-ranked team, Alabama second, Oregon third, Oklahoma fourth and Ohio State fifth.
UCLA is ranked No. 7.
Los Angeles Times reporters do not vote in the poll.
USC, coming off a 10-4 season, was ranked No. 15 in the coaches poll, which was released in July.
The Trojans, under first-year Coach Steve Sarkisian, are preparing for their Aug. 30 opener against Fresno State.
USC defeated Fresno State, 45-20, in the Las Vegas Bowl last season.
