The United States not only was placed in what most experts are calling the toughest group for the 2014
The U.S. will open Group G play on June 16 against World Cup nemesis Ghana, a team that has eliminated the Americans from play in the last two tournaments.
Then come matches against European powers Portugal on June 22 and Germany on June 26.
Neighboring Mexico didn't get placed in a much easier pool, joining Group A with host Brazil, African power Cameroon and European power Croatia.
Do you think there is any way that either the Americans or Mexicans can survive group play to advance to the single-elimination round of 16?
