UCLA vs. WASHINGTON STATE

When:4.

Where:Pauley Pavilion.

On the air: TV:Pac-12 Networks; Radio: 570.

Update:When these teams met for the first time earlier this month, UCLA appeared listless for much of its 85-78 loss. UCLA players have said it was their most disappointing loss of the season. But Thursday’s loss to Washington doesn’t rank far below it. UCLA (12-9 overall, 3-5 in Pac-12 Conference play) trailed the Huskies by as many as 19 points before mounting a furious second-half rally, only to lose on Washington’s final possession. Now the Bruins need a win to avoid its first three-game losing streak this season. Washington State (9-11, 1-7) lost, 81-71, to USC on Thursday. Forward Josh Hawkinson scored 16 points with 11 rebounds.
