Records: USC 10-19, 1-15 in Pac-12; Washington State 9-19, 2-14.

Update: It’s been a long season, but the Trojans have something to play for against the Cougars. A USC victory would put the Trojans in a tie for 11th place in the conference and could help them avoid a last-place seeding in next week’s Pac-12 Conference tournament. USC has lost 10 games in a row, including a 78-63 defeat by Oregon at the Galen Center on Saturday. It was USC’s 15th loss in its last 16 games. Senior guard Pe’Shon Howard scored 20 points against Oregon. Junior guard Byron Wesley continues to lead the Trojans in scoring, averaging 17 points a game. Washington State is coming off a 72-49 loss to Washington, extending the Cougars’ losing streak to seven games. Junior guard DaVonte Lacy is averaging 19.6 points a game for Washington State, which has lost 11 of its last 12.
