Update: The Trojans have won six or their last seven games, but they will be tested right away in their Pac-12 Conference opener. First up are the 10th-ranked Utes, who return key contributor Jordan Loveridge from an injury.

The most interesting matchup could be between two European big men.

Utah’s Jakob Poeltl, a 7-foot freshman from Austria, averages 10.3 points, 8.4 rebounds and 2.3 blocks per game.

USC’s Nikola Jovanovic, a 6-11 forward from Serbia, has scored in double figures in the last seven games with four double-doubles in that span.
