USC (8-0) is among the few teams in college basketball without a loss, and is the only one not ranked in the Associated Press top 25. Here’s a look

When: 7 p.m.

Where: Galen Center.

On the air: TV: Pac-12 Networks.

Update: The Trojans are inching closer to the top 25 after finishing with the second-most votes of non-ranked teams following a 91-84 win last week over Brigham Young. In that game, wing Shaqquan Aaron scored 19 points and point guard Jordan McLaughlin finished with 24 points, six rebounds and four assists. USC has six players averaging in double figures in scoring, though one of those is forward Bennie Boatwright, who is out with a sprained knee. Pepperdine (4-5) has lost four in a row, none to teams from power conferences. The Waves’ Lamond Murray Jr. is averaging 22 points and five rebounds per game.
