USC Coach Steve Sarkisian did not waste any time deploying freshman Adoree Jackson on offense, defense and special teams.

Jackson contributed in all three phases during the Trojans’ 52-13 victory over Fresno State.

“They just told me I was going in the second play of the game,” Jackson said.

Jackson caught three passes, including a no-fear catch over the middle and an 18-yard touchdown. He also broke up a pass while playing cornerback and returned a punt 10 yards.

“I feel I played OK,” Jackson said. “I give myself a C.

“I’ve always got room for improvement.”
