USC freshman Adoree' Jackson will compete in the long jump at the NCAA track and field championships Wednesday in Eugene, Ore.
The long jump final will begin at 5:15 p.m. PDT and is scheduled to air on ESPNU.
Jackson leaped 25 feet 8 inches to finish seventh and qualify for the championships at the NCAA West preliminary round last month in Austin, Texas.
Florida senior Marquis Dendy has recorded the longest mark going into the NCAA championships with a 26-feet, 10 1/2-inch jump at the SEC championships.
Jackson won the Pac-12 Championship on May 12 after leaping 25 feet 3 inches at UCLA's Drake Stadium.
A starting cornerback and kick returner who also plays receiver for the football team, Jackson resumed training and competing for the track and field team after spring football practice ended April 11.
