Desean Holmes has received more than 10 scholarship offers and it is easy to see why.

The Mission Hills Alemany High receiver caught three touchdown passes, including a 90-yard catch and run, in the Warriors’ 51-30 victory over Harbor City Narbonne on Friday.

“He turned on the jets,” Alemany Coach Dean Herrington said. “He wasn’t going to get caught.”

“It just felt like home,” Holmes said after his game on Friday.

At USC, Holmes would reunite with redshirt freshman receiver Steven Mitchell.

Herrington said the 5-foot-9, 190-pound Holmes would fit in well at USC because he “loves” Sarkisian’s up-tempo offense.

Players can sign national letters of intent on Feb. 4, 2015.
