Javorius ‘Buck’ Allen is ready for whatever comes his way.
Allen, a redshirt junior, started the season fast. He rushed for consecutive 100-yard games against Fresno State and Stanford.
Allen can make it three straight 100-yard performances on Saturday at Boston College, but said that is not his focus.
“Whatever [USC] Coach [Steve Sarkisian] has planned,” Allen said. “I just go with it.”
“I’m the man behind the scenes and if you call the play, I’ll make the best of it.”
Allen rushed for over half of the Trojans’ 291 total yards at Stanford. He credited Sarkisian’s dedication to the running game for his performance.
“He stuck with it,” Allen said. “And that’s something that really helped us.”
