Former USC tailback Javorius Allen participated in the NFL Scouting Combine this week in Indianapolis.

Allen told The Times he officially met with 12 NFL teams.

Allen, 6 feet and 221 pounds, ran the 40-yard dash in 4.53 seconds -- the sixth-fastest time of the 31 backs who ran.

He bench-pressed 225 pounds 11 times, the fewest reps of the position group.

Before the combine, NFL Network draft analyst Mike Mayock projected Allen as a fourth- or fifth-round pick.

Allen rushed for 1,489 yards and 11 touchdowns last season.

He is scheduled to participate in USC’s Pro Day on March 11.
