Barkley, a fourth-round pick in the 2013 draft, will start for the first time since Nov. 17, 2012, when he suffered a season-ending shoulder injury against UCLA. "I'm really excited about this opportunity," Barkley told Comcast Sportsnet.
In three preseason appearances, Barkley has completed 20 of 32 passes for 242 yards and two touchdowns, with two interceptions.
