Former USC and Gardena Serra High School receivers Robert Woods and Marqise Lee made strong showings in Week 1 of the NFL season.

Woods had a team-best four catches for 78 yards in the Buffalo Bills’ 23-20 overtime victory over the Chicago Bears.

Woods made a leaping 25-yard catch to set up a fourth-quarter field goal that gave the Bills a 20-17 lead.

“Good team win today,” Woods, a second-year pro, wrote in a tweet. “Great way to start. 1-0.”

Lee caught six passes for 62 yards in the Jacksonville Jaguars’ 34-17 defeat at the hands of the Philadelphia Eagles.

Lee, a second-round pick in the 2014 NFL draft, was not happy about the loss, but said he was pleased to have played in his first regular-season game.

“It was great,” he told reporters after the game. “Had a new experience, lot to work on, go back to the drawing books, watch film, go over what we made mistakes on, and get back out there next week.”

Lee started opposite undrafted free agent Allen Hurns, the first time the Jaguars started two rookie receivers in an opener.

Hurns caught four passes for a team-best 110 yards and two touchdowns.
