USC recruiting update: Coaches visit Aca’Cedric Ware in Texas

USC football coaches remain on the road as the Feb. 4 national letter-of-intent signing day nears.

Running back Aca’Cedric Ware received a visit Thursday from Coach Steve Sarkisian and assistants Clay Helton and Johnny Nansen at the gym where he trains in Cedar Hill, Texas.

“It went great,” said Ware, who verbally committed to USC in July.

Ware, 5-foot-11 and 200 pounds, third from left above, was photographed with the coaches, his father and uncle and then tweeted the pic.

Ware visited USC in September and returned last weekend — when multiple players who have committed and other recruits were on campus — for an unofficial visit.

“The way me and the other recruits got along so quickly was the thing that stood out most for me,” Ware said.

Cedar Hill High will hold a signing-day ceremony.

Ware is one of three running backs committed to the Trojans, including Dominic Davis of Mission Hills Alemany and Ronald Jones of McKinney North in Texas.
