Ykili Ross, a defensive back from Riverside Poly High, announced his commitment to USC on Saturday at the Army All-American Bowl.

But he does not intend to stay long.

“For the next three years, I will be attending the University of Southern California,” said Ross as he put on a Trojans hat.

Ross, 6-foot-2 and 192 pounds, has made multiple unofficial visits to USC and officially visited Dec. 12.

“It was just comfortable for me,” Ross said.

Ross made an official visit to Notre Dame and said he would still visit Oregon and Arizona State.

He is the third defensive back to commit to the class, joining Pasadena Muir’s Taeon Mason and Pleasanton Foothill’s Isaiah Langley.

Four scholarships remain in the 2015 recruiting class.
