Tyler Petite commits to USC

Tyler Petite, from Moraga Campolindo High, switches his commitment from Duke to USC

Tyler Petite, a tight end from Moraga (Calif.) Campolindo High, switched his commitment from Duke to USC on Friday.

“After much thought, I’ve decided that it would be best for me to continue my football career at USC,” Petite wrote on Twitter. “Fight on Trojan Fam.”

Petite shocked USC when he committed to Duke a week after attending USC’s Rising Stars camp last summer.

Petite, 6-foot-5 and 225 pounds, is the first tight end to commit to USC in 2015.

USC has seven scholarships remaining.
