Boys’ basketball: Lewis Stallworth leads Hart to victory

Lewis Stallworth scored 25 points to help Hart defeated Flintridge Prep, 74-53, in a Crescenta Valley tournament game.

Adrian Gutierrez had 18 points in Verdugo Hills’ 79-49 win over La Salle.

In Arizona, Chaminade opened with an 86-35 win over Sedona Red Rock. Jack Williams had 20 points and 15 rebounds. Danny Holcomb added 17 points.

In a Beverly Hills tournament consolation game, Tra Holder scored 24 points in Brentwood’s 72-62 win over San Gabriel Academy. Yonathan Napoleon and Maxwell Kupchak added 19 apiece. Marcus LoVett Jr. had 30 for San Gabriel.

Sherman Oaks Notre Dame defeated Golden Valley, 85-53. Ryan Ducar and Elijah Ellen had 15 points apiece.

Matt Hauser scored 32 points in Thousand Oaks’ 62-49 win over Arroyo Grande in the Arroyo Grande tournament. TO is 5-1.

Scott Majors scored 28 points to help Trabuco Hills knock off Villa Park, 64-61.

Riley Nicoll, a senior guard at Oxnard, made nine three-pointers and had 43 points in Oxnard’s 75-47 win over Besant Hill.

Royal defeated Ventura, 61-59. Wes Tavares had 16 points. Oak Park defeated North Hollywood, 62-37. Matt Byer, the star receiver for the football team, scored 14 points and had 11 rebounds and 10 steals.

Narbonne defeated Peninsula, 53-52, in overtime. Jamal Hicks had 23 points.
