Football: Clinic is set for April 5 at Scripps Ranch
A football and athletic directors clinic will be held on April 5 at Scripps Ranch High School in San Diego from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Cost is $35 per coach.
Coaches scheduled to speak include John Shacklett from Morse, Herb Meyer from Oceanside El Camino, Ron Hamamoto from Monte Vista (he’s talking about defending the spread offense), Gil Warren from Olympian (practice organization), Chris Hauser from Mission Hills (building balanced offense) and Danny Gonzales from San Diego State (blitzing).
John Carroll from Oceanside and Rocky Long from San Diego State will participate in a question and answer session.
