Hi Diane,
Not to beat a dead horse, but if it's been a tradition for the last 30 years that the winner of a stage by default (someone fell), doesn't wear the yellow jersey the next day - why is it that Lance was told "wear it or you don't ride?" Any other examples of this during recent times? Don't want you to do a lot of research, but since, admittedly, my opinion of the Parisian-French (different from country-French) is rather low, it strikes me that the Tour officials weren't going to allow Lance the opportunity to show respect for Zabriskie - but anyone else could have done the same thing without comment from the Tour. Your thoughts?
