Saints Bounce Back, Beat Steelers

One week after an embarrasing home loss to the Cleveland Brownsbounced back with a huge victory against one of the best teams in the league. The Saints topped the Steelers20-10 on Sunday night at the Superdome

Drew Brees passed for 305 yards and two touchdowns. Brees was 20 of 22 for 191 yards in the second half. It was a defensive battle for most of the game. neither team scored a touchdown until the fourth quarter.

Brees' hit Marques Colston for 16 yards in the fourth and then passed for another touchdown for 8 yards to Lance Moore with 2:37 left. Leigh Torrence then intercepted Ben Roethlisbergerto seal it for the Saints (5-3). The turning point of the game came late in the 4th, linebacker Marvin Mitchell forced a fumble by Heath Miller. Safety Darren Sharper grabbed it. The Saints would take over at their own 45. The Saints scored seven plays later.

Rashard Mendenhall had the only touchdown for Pittsburgh (5-2) on a 38-yard run in the fourth quarter. Roethlisberger was 17 of 28 for 195 yards in a matchup of the past two Super Bowl champs.
