Two Ford vehicles to get revived Taurus name

Ford Motor Co., as expected, said it erred when it dumped the Taurus name last year and is bringing it back on two vehicles that have fallen short of the company’s sales expectations.

Ford re-christened its Five Hundred sedan the Taurus and its Freestyle wagon the Taurus X. The automaker also is bringing back the Sable name for the Mercury Montego sedan, a version of the Five Hundred.
